About the Founder
Mezhi Selvan or Mac as he is fondly known, is a boundless ocean of vision and courage. An avid fashionista, an intrepid textile entrepreneur, a dedicated family head, a philanthropist and a visionary, Mac dons these roles with ease and elan. As a professional his love for fashion and his passion for textiles inspires him each day to reach for the zenith.
A protege of the renowned Padma Shree winner Dr. A Sakthivel, Mac learned his ropes well and went on to establish the iconic Gloria Casa Moda in 2006. A bespoke fashion & sourcing consultancy aimed at the vast European and American markets. From the role of an entrepreneur to that of an industry lighthouse, Mac has transcended the bounds of industrial epithets to emerge as a thought leader. ABAT
As the Vice president contributed to the mission of promoting and representing the interest and challenges of sourcing consultants and exporters within the textile community.
TEA
As an executive member of TEA participated in an association dedicated to promoting and supporting textile exports from the Tirupur region. Contributed to shaping export strategies and addressing industry challenges.
As vice chairman of the TEA sub committee on sustainability and brand promotion actively participated in various seminars and knowledge sharing platforms to bring attention to the evolving global landscape and show cased sustainable practices within the industry.
BSL
As an active member of the brands and sourcing leaders, provided strong focus on industrial leadership innovation and knowledge of sustainability practices. DSL offers excellent opportunities for networking sharing knowledge and staying updated on the latest trends and practices in the textile sector.
